i don't want to take the pill as it's bad for your liver. i know you can get the doc to prescribe you 2% ketoconazole cream but i'm just wondering if 1% will do the trick instead? going to the doc requires copay, waiting, being around sick people, etc and nizoral is $15 at target. i also have bad dandruff and know the 1% works well but the 2% can't even be used in my hair anyway since it's a cream. so i may wind up getting both anyway...help?Will 1% ketoconazole OTC nizoral shampoo cure my tinea versicolor?
